the great Worldwide/Wall Street Crash of 2007 was one of the most cleverly designed financial coup d'etat's in history and we are now all living in the sunlight of Elysium.
just wow Microsoft. Somewhere Peter Moore is sipping a cocktail saying to himself, "Not enough GAMES shown, No used games on the console, & Kinect is a requirement? They miss me".
At least he would've come out w/ a GTAV tattoo plastered on his bicep to announce exclusive timed content only available on XBOXONE and get everyone roiled up from day NUMBER 1. Oh well, "salud" to the good 'ol days Peter.
I just don't get it. I mean what the hell are they doing? Trying to purposefully sabotage their own brand? If that's the case, they're well on their way.
Look... I remember how it was for the PS3 back in 2006. I remember all the naysayers and doubters and I don't want to sound like that to the XBOX1. I really don't. But as a gamer and lover of this hobby I just have to ask what the hell is MS doing? Why are they seemingly abandoning the people that ...
console gaming "reveals" I have ever seen from a company with the money Microsoft has and I can't be any more clearer than that. I mean it was... so anti-climactic and it all just felt recylced and old with the same old tired multiplat devs and games (EASPORTS & COD?? yawwwn). They even took the name back to "old" times... XBOXONE? Seriously?? What about the real XBOX1?? I mean why make the console look old too?
Common sense tells me they were...
a pittance of exclusives It seems (as they hardly mentioned anything new except Quantum Dream) and a subscription to get onto and enjoy what the internet and gaming have to offer is a non-starter for me.
I thought 2013 would be the year I would have a MS and Sony gaming console in my house... looks like I was wrong. I'll get the PS4 as I've already got a great Direct TV receiver.
but that thing just doesn't look good. I mean it looks like a cable box which (in a way) I guess is what they're going for - oh well I know there are people that will like the way it looks, nonetheless.
... but where are all of the exclusive games?
....one console for television.
Damn it looks bigger than my family's first vcr! just saying... not judging its power.
Entertainment-centric, Always ON???? whoaaaa.....
I don't want to watch TV, I want to game!!
Bam! 2013
The controller seems to be a bit of the same?
meh is right... how the hell does this series continue to have the legs it does? I commend Activision on their incredible success with this series, yet it's still defies "logic" nonetheless. It tells me there are a lot of positive statistics (loads of money) on "casual" gamers and next gen consoles out there that is only privy to the devs and publishers.
I'll wait to see what 2k is doing w/ the NBA on "next gen".
I hope Sony doesn't troll the nextbox "too hard" though. We remember what they did to Toshiba.

Greatness Awaits™.
I don't want to see a Peter Molyneaux quote without a Nolan Bushnell reference in the article. This is faux outrage.

Soon we shall be left with more speculation and rumors to spin as I'm guessing this reveal won't answer /all/ of the questions. Personally, I just want to see what exclusives they are blasting out of the cannon, truly how big of a push kinect will be from the outset and overall, and if it's required to be always on or not.
meh... not that exciting.
0_0 yup, I gotta getta Vita.
Sony revealed the coup de main. The art of war is not to start a war, so yes "they've already ended it before it began," sort of speak.
Of course we know the battle will still rage on w/ the grunts on the interwebz.
what you call a collision in the last video (after they had exited the Karussell and headed toward Bruunchen) was nothing more than a love tap (with the front right fender of the GT-R barely tapping the rear left fender of the R8), and there's not going to be damage caused from that and if so it would be wholly negligible (what, maybe five inches of scuffed paint?). I think you might be looking for a race game w/ huge arcade like spectacular crashes, fires and some kind of point system i...
for me the conference was over once the word "XBOXONE" flashed across the screen. I was like wtf? There's already been an XBOX that was #1. Surely they're not calling it that right? Right? Wrong - shut up and eat your Kinect cake you silly consumer/casualgamer.
